Yasmine, CEO and founder of My Financial Future, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Rising Women of Western Sydney Scholarship.
The scholarship is a collaboration between the City of Parramatta and the Parramatta Eels. It acknowledges young women aged 18 to 28 who contribute positively to their local communities while developing leadership skills and investing in their futures.
Yasmine was selected for her efforts to help young people achieve greater financial literacy by providing practical money skills through her FinReady program. FinReady gives participants hands-on training in budgeting, saving, debt management and understanding their superannuation options, so they can make informed financial decisions.
What the scholarship includes
As part of the award package, the winner receives:
- A cash prize of $15,000
- An internship with the Parramatta Eels
- A place in the Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue's leadership course, valued at $13,000
What it means for My Financial Future
According to Yasmine, the recognition will enable My Financial Future to expand its outreach into more areas of Parramatta and Western Sydney. The fully funded FinReady: Financially Fit in Parramatta workshops and online course will help young adults gain the practical money skills they need most, and equip the next generation to make confident financial decisions.
This achievement is a reminder of why My Financial Future exists. We believe every young Australian has the right to know how to take control of their financial future.
