Seeds of Resilience online brings the same practical program our facilitators deliver in classrooms to young people anywhere in the Central West, on your schedule, from any device.
You will learn budgeting, payslips and tax, savings and emergency funds, debt and superannuation, all grounded in real regional life: seasonal income, distance, and bouncing back when drought or disaster hits.
You will not learn alone. Every participant joins a community of like-minded learners, with support along the way.
About 3 hours of practical money skills in four blocks, plus interactive activities to build your own Money Action Plan.
What you want your financial future to look like, across career, money and lifestyle, so you start with a clear vision instead of overwhelm.
Budget income against expenses with the 50/30/20 rule, and read your payslip with confidence so you know you are being paid correctly.
Build a buffer for seasonal or irregular income, know where to turn for disaster relief and community support, and steer clear of high-interest debt.
A personalised plan you can act on immediately, with a simple emergency checklist for the first three steps to take if something goes wrong.
This course is fully funded for young people aged 14 to 25 who live in the Central West of NSW. You must live in one of these local government areas to be eligible for a free place:
